Gigabyte announces Aorus H5 headset with beryllium drivers

Gigabyte has a new headset ready for gamers. The H5 headset that falls under the Aorus label. Gigabyte positions the Aorus H5 in the high end segment and emphasizes the use of beryllium drivers.

By combining metal 50mm drivers with beryllium instead of the commonly used neodymium, Gigabyte wants to stay on top off the large group of headsets. The material would achieve higher precision and better balance. The frequency range of the Gigabyte Aorus H5 falls between 20 Hz and 20 KHz with a sensitivity of 100 ± 3 dB at 1 KHz. The Aorus H5 uses a 3.5mm headphone jack and also USB for RGB LED lighting.

Despite the big drivers, the Aorus H5 weighs only 285 grams. In addition, the headband is adjustable, while the ear pegs must keep most of the noise out. Gigabyte does not make any statements about availability and pricing.
