Taiwanese manufacturer i-Rocks has announced a high end mechanical keyboard with capacitive mechanical switches. This allows you to set the operating distance yourself; In this case, the user can switch between a distance of 1.4 mm and 2.2 mm.
Fortunately, the keycaps haven’t been left out, because i-Rocks has opted for double shot keys. As result, the lettering wont tear down, even if you can replace the keys yourself later for keycaps that are compatible with the standard Cherry MX switches.
RGB Lighting and Gaming mode
The RGB-light is adjustable per key and there is on-board memory for macros and profiles. Also there is a special gaming mode that you can easily switch on(for example, to adjust the operating distance to gaming or word processing). Anti-ghosting and 30-key rollover will also be featured.
The i-Rocks K70E RGB comes in white and black, and in keys with the equivalent of 45 or 60 grams of required power.
These four performances will all come to the market for $ 149.99, though not announced when that will happen.
