AOC now presents its fastest Nvidia G-SYNC monitor. The AGON AG251FG must provide a refresh rate of 240Hz, a response time of 1 millisecond and Nvidia ULMB for less motion blur. In addition, the screen also includes other premium gaming features, such as AOC Shadow Control and the ergonomic AOC Ergo Dial Base.
The new AOC features a 24.5 inch Full HD TN panel (16: 9 format, 1920 x 1080 pixels), which is slightly larger than most 24 inch displays in Esports. G-SYNC technology must synchronize the refresh rate of the video card’s GPU screen to reduce tearing, choppy images and input.
Like all AGON monitors, the AG251FG also has to offer a range of premium features that gamers need to support in their comfort and performance, according to the manufacturer. This includes the Ergo Dial Base, tilted, rotated and height adjustable (with altimeter). A headset holder and a handle are also added. The AOC Flicker Free technology should reduce flicker, while the AOC Low Blue Light mode potentially reduces harmful blue short wave light rays. The Shadow Control option needs to clear the screen in extremely dark areas.
