Logitech has released a firmware update for the Logitech G203 game mouse. Normally, only minor changes are made in such updates, but this is a relatively large update that even makes some significant changes to the specification list. According to Logitech, they learned the necessary issues during the development of the Hero sensor, which could also be applied to the existing G203 Prodigy.
With the new firmware, the maximum resolution of the mouse in question increases from 6000 to 8000 DPI. Furthermore, Logitech’s maximum speed has increased from 200 to 300 inches per second, while the maximum acceleration is no longer specified at 25G but 35G. The update can be downloaded and installed using the Logitech Gaming Software.
