Perhaps not entirely unintentionally, ASUS introduced a new portable monitor, the MB16AC, on the same day as a competitor AOC. The 15.6 “IPS panel has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, is only 8 millimeters thick and weighs about 780 grams. The user can connect it via USB Type-A or Type-C; An available signal is automatically selected. For the traditional Type-A hosts, a driver is required, while Type-C does not require additional software on DisplayPort. The panel has a maximum brightness of 220 cd / m² and consumes less than 8 watts.
A nice addition is that the image automatically assumes the orientation of the physical screen, so you do not have to dive the Windows display settings. The whole is finally protected by a foldable smart case, which also serves as a footstool.
The included ZenScreen ballpoint pen can be used for that same purpose.
